Let It Snow!

Well, winter is here! Hesperia has become a winter wonderland. The snow began to come down on Wednesday morning (12/17). Kasey received a call from his district saying that school was canceled for the day. He jumped for joy and Megan jumped with him. All of the sudden the radio announcer stated that all high desert districts, EXCEPT for Apple Valley, will be closed. Needless to say our moment of celebration was put to a halt. So, Megan ended up going to school where the principal called a half day! Go figure! Once home, Megan and Kasey played gleefully in the snow for the rest of the day. We have a new addition to the family! This is Pearl. She is a puggle that we bought over the Internet from Missouri. She flew in to Ontario the week before Christmas. She was a surprise for Megan. Megan was shocked and it was love at first sight! :) She has been loads of fun, a little tough to potty train though. She is very cuddly and likes to lick you. She's a cutie!
